Have you found yourself with more than the usual amount of stress following you throughout the day? If so, you are not alone.
It can be difficult to pick yourself back up and get into a routine in a world that looks so different now than it did at the beginning of the year. While the pandemic has certainly increased the stress on our everyday lives, it’s important that we continue fighting towards our long term goals.
As a leader in the real estate investment field and a managing partner with LendPlus, Jacques Poujade knows the importance of staying productive, even when times get tough. It’s for this reason that he’s offering up his advice to get back on track to a productive future.
Do you need to reset? Jacques Poujade is sharing his 4 tips for starting fresh after lockdown.
Reset Your Routine
Have you felt out of your routine lately? No matter how strict you might have been about establishing and sticking to a routine where you can do your best work in the past, the pandemic lockdown of late has made that more difficult – sometimes, even impossible.
Whether your dismantled routine is due to working at home, the gym being closed, or any other mix of change, it’s vital that you get back to as close of a routine as you can. Whether it’s setting up a home office (with office hours!) or simply going for a run, having a routine that emulates the one that you had pre-pandemic is one of the best ways to find a fresh start post-lockdown.
Make Time for Yourself
Have you found yourself with no “you” time despite being in lockdown? That’s the complaint of many.
Whether it’s not being able to get away from work (8PM phone calls, anyone?) or simply being around those you live with a little more than usual, it’s important that you make time for yourself.
From a walk around the neighborhood, taking the time to read that book that’s been on the shelf for too long, or even going for a drive around town, you’ll be surprised at the productivity that can come out of taking a step back from your day and for yourself.
Innovate Your Business Model
Has the pandemic changed the way that your business functions? That can be stressful for a variety of reasons, but it can also be a great opportunity to grow your business model. By leaning into change, you can find yourself in front of an opportunity to innovate how your team works.
This innovation is sure to put your goals in better position than before the pandemic lockdown. Remember: the best innovations have come from the ashes of difficult times and any business can benefit from this creative opportunity!
Despite my decades of experience, I always try to improve myself through continuous learning. My favorite thing to do is listening to some of my favorite personal finance podcasts while working out.

Stay Healthy
It can be difficult to think about staying healthy when you haven’t been able to leave your house in months. However, it’s more important now than ever to be your healthiest self – physically and mentally!
By calming your mind and getting fresh air, you are putting yourself in the best position to be your best self for a fresh start post-lockdown.
